Research to Verification (8-year MnROAD Study)

Mn Road Verification Testing

At Ingios, we’ve spent years advancing e-compaction and modulus-based testing methods to help agencies move beyond density and into performance-based pavement verification.

We’re proud to see this hard work pay off: MnDOT’s latest study at MnROAD confirms that initial stiffness and foundation uniformity directly correlate with pavement cracking performance (data collected in 2017). https://lnkd.in/g8fdXdk7

In simple terms, when the pavement foundation is stiffer and more uniform, roads last longer. Where variability exists, cracks form earlier.

This is precisely why Ingios’ mission has been to deliver technologies that provide quantitative modulus data during construction to help agencies and contractors catch poor support conditions before they become failures.

Congratulations to MnROAD and the research team for demonstrating how modulus testing is transforming pavement engineering from theory to field-proven performance.
